Bonnet Hip

Bonnet Hip Tiles are designed to connect the roof tiles together and cover the hip intersection of a pitched roof, typically covering pitches of between 35° and 50°. Bonnet Hip Tiles are only suitable for plan angles of 90°.

 

We use traditional hand-operated moulds to make the profile of our Bonnet Hips. 

Once made they are taken out of the mould and placed in the formers to dry.  This then gives the clay its shape and they are left to dry naturally for 7-10  days.

Willow Tiles Bonnet Hips are Handmade tiles, formed to give an aged appearance, making them suitable for barn conversions, listed buildings and new build homes.
